Privacy policy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

Short version: we use your details to run your booking, and nothing else.

What we collect

  • When you fill out the Welcome Form or contact form, we collect the details you enter: names, email address, phone number, event date, venue, and anything you write in the message fields.
  • When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and store it in Mailchimp.
  • Our site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

Why we collect it

  • To check availability for your date, prepare a quote, and run your event.
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the people needed to deliver your booking.

Video recorded in the booth

  • Video recorded at your event belongs to you. We deliver it through a private gallery link that only you and the people you share it with can open.
  • Guests choose to record. Nothing is captured unless someone taps to start.
  • We may ask separately for permission to use a clip in our own marketing. We never do this without asking first, and a no is a no.
  • We keep a backup of your files for 12 months after delivery, then remove them unless you ask us to hold them longer.

Third parties we use

  • Mailchimp, for the newsletter.
  • Our email provider, for replying to you and sending your gallery link.
  • Our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs.

Your choices

  • Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
  • You can ask us to delete your enquiry details or your event files at any time by emailing zach@brightbooth.ca.
